NextGen Youth Summit

The NextGen Youth Summit was a two-day event that aimed to equip and empower immigrant youth by providing a platform to connect with fellow youth, explore new opportunities, and celebrate community. Bringing together a dynamic mix of speakers, industry professionals, and emerging youth immigrant leaders, the NextGen Youth Summit focused on culture, self-identity, diversity, and celebrating community. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in insightful panel discussions and interactive workshops exploring various topics from culture to mental health.

Project Role

For this project, I led the design execution and managed content planning across social media and email marketing. This included developing creative assets to promote the event and implementing a structured content calendar to reach target event registrations and ensure consistent engagement leading up to the summit.

Social Media

Email Marketing

We sent two email campaigns to our subscriber list:

  • Event Announcement – introducing the summit and its purpose.

  • Reminder Email – highlighting the lineup of speakers and encouraging last-minute registrations.

Since the majority of our email list was between the ages of 30–50, if I were to refine this strategy, I would recommend A/B testing the messaging. One version could target parents and community supporters, while another would directly appeal to youth. This insight could inform stronger engagement in future similar campaigns.
